What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store. Similar technologies, such as local storage, do the same job in a different way. They are used to remember a choice you made, to keep a page working as you move through it, or to count how many people visited.
This page explains which of them this website uses, what each one is for, and how to switch them off.
What this site uses
This website keeps it short. There is no advertising tracker on it, and nothing is loaded before you choose.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
knox_consent |
This website | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies, so we do not ask again. It holds nothing but that one answer. | 12 months |
_ga |
Google Analytics | Tells one visitor’s browser apart from another so we can count visits. Set only after you accept. | 2 years |
_ga_SL3E97XV2P |
Google Analytics | Keeps the state of your current visit. Set only after you accept. | 2 years |
Until you accept, Google Analytics is held back and sets nothing. If you decline, it stays off and only your choice is remembered.
Third-party content
The Payroll Savings Assessment is built and hosted by GoHighLevel / VanX and loaded into this site. When you interact with it, that platform may set its own cookies in order to run the form and record your submission. Those cookies are governed by the platform’s own terms, and what Knox does with the information you submit is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Links out to Google Maps, Google reviews, WhatsApp and our social profiles take you to those services, which set their own cookies once you arrive.
Advertising
This website does not currently load an advertising or conversion pixel. If that changes, this page and our Privacy Policy are updated before the pixel goes live, and it is held behind the same consent choice as analytics.
Your choice, and how to change it
The banner on your first visit is the choice. Accept turns analytics on, decline leaves it off, and either way the answer is remembered for twelve months so you are not asked again.
To change your mind, clear this site’s cookies and site data in your browser and reload the page. The banner comes back and you can answer again.
Browser controls
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, either for all sites or for this one, in its privacy or site-settings panel. Blocking cookies outright may stop parts of the assessment form from working.
Google also publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics on every site you visit.
Changes
If what this site loads changes, this page is updated and the date above is revised.
